Job description
Role Overview
A Tier 1 Main Contractor based in North Dublin seeks an Intermediate Estimator to join their growing estimating team. This role involves preparing cost estimates and pricing for tender submissions supporting various construction projects within a strong pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed cost estimates and price tenders for construction projects.
- Review and interpret tender documents, drawings, and specifications to identify project scope and cost determinants.
- Obtain and assess quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Assist in compiling comprehensive and accurate tender returns.
- Communicate and coordinate with design teams and external vendors throughout the tender process.
- Facilitate smooth transition post-tender to commercial and site teams.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
- Relevant experience as an Estimator, preferably within a main contracting environment.
- Strong analytical skills combined with numerical proficiency and IT literacy.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive salary ranging from €65,000 to €75,000 annually.
