Job description
Role Overview
We are actively looking for a skilled and meticulous Architectural Technologist to become a vital member of a multidisciplinary expanding team located in Kildare. This role offers an exciting opportunity for driven professionals who possess solid technical expertise and enthusiasm for producing excellent construction documentation across various building and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Create 2D and 3D technical drawings utilizing tools such as AutoCAD and Revit.
- Develop construction drawings including site layouts, foundation schemes, drainage plans, structural elements, and waterproofing details.
- Work cooperatively with engineers and project teams to generate cohesive design solutions.
- Ensure all drawings adhere strictly to Irish Building Regulations and established industry standards.
- Regularly update and modify drawings based on evolving project needs and client input.
- Conduct surveys of existing structures as necessary.
- Maintain comprehensive and precise records for all project documentation and drawings.
Candidate Requirements
- Formal qualification in Architectural Technology is mandatory.
- Preferably over five years of professional experience within architectural practices, engineering consultancies, or similar settings.
- Experience working on residential, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects is expected.
- Proficient skills in architectural detailing and construction documentation.
- Experience with Revit and AutoCAD software is highly desired.
- Strong understanding of Irish Building Regulations and construction methodologies.
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong communication abilities, and organizational skills.
- Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Possession of a full Irish driving license and authorization to work in Ireland are compulsory.
Salary and Benefits
- Competitive salary ranging from €50,000 to €60,000 depending on experience.
