Interior Designer

About the Role

We seek a passionate and detail-driven Interior Designer with a flair for creativity and strong technical know-how to join our team. The successful candidate will lead interior design projects from initial concept through to final delivery, carefully aligning outcomes with client expectations, current design trends, and compliance standards. Emphasizing innovation, sustainability, and practicality, this role demands a professional eager to deliver original yet efficient design solutions.

Core Responsibilities

• Create accurate technical drawings based on sketches, conversations, and site inspections.
• Develop architectural and technical documentation adhering to legal and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with external consultants and suppliers to fulfill submission standards.
• Design comprehensive shop drawings for joinery, metal fabrications, and built-in furniture components.
• Prepare detailed project Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Assemble material specification sheets for finishes, lighting, and furniture using Excel with accompanying images.
• Maintain thorough and well-organized project files and drawing indexes.
• Coordinate printing, formatting, and distribution of drawings to project managers and onsite supervisors.
• Systematize and update CAD files methodically on the project server.
• Conduct meticulous reviews and validations of drawings prior to submission to ensure precision and compliance.
• Manage multiple interior design projects concurrently with efficiency.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• At least one year of experience in designing residential and commercial interiors spanning offices, retail outlets, and food & beverage environments.
• A compelling portfolio demonstrating innovative and functional interior design projects.
• Proficiency with design and visualization software including Vectorworks (preferred), AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, Twinmotion, V-Ray, Enscape, Revit, presentation tools, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Exceptional attention to detail combined with creativity and imaginative design approach.
• Excellent verbal and presentation communication skills to effectively articulate and advocate design concepts.
• Strong time management capabilities and comfort working collaboratively within team settings.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related discipline is mandatory.
