Interior Designer

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Interior Designer with 5 to 10 years of expertise to join our team in Mumbai. This position requires the creation and development of comprehensive interior concepts, including layouts, material selections, and intricate design details. The candidate will engage closely with various project stakeholders and oversee execution to maintain high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Create innovative interior concepts, develop layouts and material palettes, and produce detailed design plans.
• Prepare and evaluate working drawings, including elevations, sections, reflected ceiling plans, and furniture layouts.
• Collaborate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and onsite teams to ensure cohesive project development.
• Conduct frequent site visits to affirm that the design intent is accurately executed.
• Assess and approve materials, finishes, fixtures, furniture, and samples to meet design requirements.
• Address and resolve design-related and technical challenges encountered during site execution.
• Manage project deliverables and timelines to meet deadlines efficiently.
• Maintain strict adherence to quality and detailing standards throughout the construction phase.

Candidate Requirements

• A professional background in interior design with 5 to 10 years of practical experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and skilled in producing precise design documentation.
• Strong understanding of materials, construction detailing, and their applications in interior projects.
• Hands-on experience coordinating site execution and collaborating with contractors on project implementations.
• A robust portfolio showcasing past interior design projects and competencies.
• Availability to work on-site in Mumbai is mandatory.
