Role Overview

As an Interior Designer, you will contribute creatively to the development of superior interior design concepts that enrich ABYAT's expanding Design Library. This role involves translating design directions into full interior schemes, working on both trend-forward and traditional styles, supporting the creation of new residential and villa project collections, and producing design content for proprietary software. Ideal candidates are imaginative yet commercially aware, with solid experience in residential design and effective presentation skills.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive, functional, and visually striking interior designs consistent with ABYAT’s Design Direction and aesthetic principles.
• Generate both contemporary and classic interior concepts for inclusion in the company’s Design Library.
• Create coordinated design solutions and product assortments tailored for residential and villa applications.
• Assist in the development of new product and collection assortments aligned with business strategy.
• Produce high-quality 3D visualizations, rendered images, layout plans, and polished design presentations.
• Generate interior design materials compatible with ABYAT's internal software systems.
• Confidently present design ideas and proposals to clients and company stakeholders.
• Ensure each design project has a distinct concept, narrative, material direction, and clear pricing strategy.
• Provide mentorship and support to Junior Designers through reviews and developmental feedback.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or related disciplines.
• 3 to 5 years of professional experience in interior design, particularly in residential projects.
• Additional experience in fit-out, showroom retail, furniture retail, interior studios, or design consultancies is a strong advantage.
• Demonstrated ability in design-focused sales and interactions with clients.
• A strong creative flair with a unique design style and a professional portfolio showcasing your work.
• Advanced skills in 3D rendering, visualization, and delivering presentations.
• Highly skilled in 3ds Max, V-Ray, Corona Renderer, AutoCAD, and professional presentation software.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English languages.
• Exceptional communication skills and confidence in presenting design proposals to high-value customers.
