Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and driven Instrumentation Engineer with 5 to 10 years of experience in managing instrumentation elements within water infrastructure projects. The projects encompass Water Treatment Plants, Intake Works, Pump Houses, Raw and Clear Water Pumping Stations, alongside associated Water Supply Schemes. The role is based in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.
Primary Duties
- Lead and oversee instrumentation and automation tasks throughout water supply and treatment initiatives.
- Install, test, calibrate, and commission various field instruments such as Flow Meters, Pressure Transmitters, Level Sensors/Transmitters, Water Quality Analyzers, Control Valves, and Actuators.
- Manage commissioning and integration activities for systems including PLC, SCADA, RTU, HMI, and Telemetry.
- Collaborate effectively with electrical, mechanical, and civil engineering teams to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Analyze and verify instrumentation drawings, Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), logic diagrams, datasheets, and technical specifications.
- Supervise contractor work to guarantee adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and project timelines.
- Diagnose and resolve issues with instrumentation and automation systems during project execution phases.
- Document technical details, commissioning activities, calibration results, and project progress extensively.
- Communicate and coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and regulatory bodies as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics & Instrumentation, Electrical & Instrumentation, or a closely related field.
- Five to ten years of practical experience specifically in water supply infrastructure projects such as Water Treatment Plants, Intake Works, Pump Houses, or irrigation systems.
