Job description
Role Overview
This permanent position based in Anglesey involves working full time on site to help manage and reduce water distribution and leakage problems, minimizing customer inconvenience. The role requires active collaboration with various departments during emergency incidents and maintaining accurate GIS data to uphold information quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to prompt resolution of actual or potential water leakage and distribution issues, aiming to minimize customer disruption.
- Collaborate effectively within a team to achieve and sustain area leakage reduction targets.
- Participate alongside other departments during significant Silver and Gold level incidents.
- Ensure timely updates are submitted to GIS bureau to maintain accurate spatial data.
- Apply appropriate leakage control techniques to meet company targets.
- Uphold all company health and safety standards to protect colleagues and customers.
- Liaise with distribution teams regularly and during emergencies to develop network and leakage solutions.
- Accurately record all relevant details in IT systems daily.
- Adhere strictly to proper working practices both during and outside regular hours.
- Conduct thorough visual inspections throughout the network.
- Represent the company during various project phases, assisting partners with development, planning, approvals, and statutory compliance.
- Manage challenging situations professionally and courteously, seeking swift resolution.
- Propose network improvement recommendations.
- Organize workload independently, prioritizing effectively with minimal supervision.
- Perform any additional duties required to meet organizational needs.
Candidate Profile
- Possesses a current, full valid driving licence.
- Experience delivering excellent customer service.
- Competent computer user with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and other software.
- Committed to prioritizing customer satisfaction daily.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Understanding of the water industry operations.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Capable of establishing and maintaining networks across internal teams, partners, and contractors.
- Efficient in managing deadlines and working under pressure while remaining impartial in customer service.

- Participation in standby duty rota is required.
