Team and Mission

You will be part of the Infrastructure team within the Platform Engineering group, building an AI-native platform that serves more than 150 internal developers. The goal is to accelerate value delivery by shortening the time from idea to implementation, while providing a secure and efficient platform environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud infrastructure primarily on AWS using Terraform to ensure all environments are reproducible and understandable by both engineers and AI agents.
• Create and manage CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, instituting safeguards to make automated releases secure by default.
• Administer and scale Kubernetes clusters across multiple regions.
• Maintain and improve Helm charts and reusable deployment workflows.
• Enhance monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability systems, integrating signals into AI-driven remediation processes and establishing clear alert ownership.
• Implement robust infrastructure security through image scanning, policy-as-code, network segmentation, and firewall configurations.
• Collaborate closely with product engineering teams to fulfill their infrastructure requirements.
• Empower developers and AI agents to independently deploy and manage services.
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide infrastructure support.

Candidate Profile

• At least 5 years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or software engineering roles.
• Strong emphasis on building AI-native solutions.
• Experienced with cloud platforms, preferably AWS; Azure or GCP experience is also applicable.
• Proficiency in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and release management.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
• Knowledge of container technologies including Docker.
• Experience working with observability tools encompassing monitoring, logging, and alerting.
• Excellent collaboration skills to effectively support engineering teams.
• Strong communication abilities to explain complex platform concepts and trade-offs to stakeholders clearly.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written to an expert level.

Compensation Range

The salary for this position ranges from CA$88,000 to CA$195,000 per annum.
