Team and Mission

Join our Infrastructure team within Platform Engineering, where we create an AI-native platform for more than 150 internal developers. Our guiding principle is to minimize the time from idea to value, ensuring smooth, safe, and accelerated development paths through AI-powered technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and continuously enhance cloud infrastructure using AWS and Terraform to maintain reproducibility and clarity across environments.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines leveraging GitHub Actions that provide safe, agentic release automation.
• Administer and scale Kubernetes clusters across multiple regions in production.
• Manage and improve Helm charts and deployment workflows to ensure reusability and efficiency.
• Enhance observability through monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks, integrating feedback into AI-assisted remediation systems and clarifying alert ownership.
• Strengthen infrastructure security through measures like image scanning, policy-as-code, network segmentation, and firewall management.
• Collaborate closely with product engineering teams, addressing their infrastructure needs and enabling independent deployment and management of services.
• Participate in an on-call schedule to support operational reliability.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum five years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or software engineering roles.
• Adopts an AI-forward mindset, ensuring all built solutions meet AI-native standards.
• Strong background working with AWS cloud platform; familiarity with Azure or GCP is also advantageous.
• Hands-on experience constructing and operating CI/CD pipelines and managing software deployments.
• Proficient in managing Kubernetes in live production environments alongside experience with Docker and containerized applications.
• Skilled in using observability tools, encompassing monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
• Excellent team collaboration skills, with a focus on supporting and empowering engineering teams.
• Exceptional communicator capable of articulating platform complexity and trade-offs clearly to various stakeholders.
• Fluent in spoken and written English at an expert level.

Compensation and Culture

Compensation includes base salary ranging from CAD 88,000 to CAD 195,000, potentially supplemented by commissions, annual bonuses, and equity options depending on the role.
