Information Security Architect, Vice President

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Information Security Architect specializing in data protection to join our dedicated team. This role demands extensive expertise in establishing resilient security architectures focused on safeguarding data in highly regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive security architectures for data protection aligned with industry best practices and compliance standards.
• Create and implement security frameworks securing data at all stages – at rest, in transit, and in use.
• Design cryptographic solutions and protocols tailored to protect sensitive information and ensure regulatory adherence.
• Enforce policies governing secure data handling, storage, and transfer utilizing technologies like DSPM, CASB, and SSPM.
• Ensure architectures comply with regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS through regular risk assessments and audits.
• Collaborate with incident response teams to establish procedures for addressing potential data breaches and institute continuous monitoring of data access for anomaly detection.
• Partner with IT, legal, and compliance departments to integrate security measures seamlessly and foster a strong security culture among stakeholders.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends and innovations in data protection and provide thought leadership to implement cutting-edge security solutions.

Education and Experience

• 7 to 10 years of experience in information security focusing on security architecture and data protection.
• Experience working in regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, or government sectors, with understanding of compliance mandates.
• Certifications including CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP, or equivalent professional credentials in cybersecurity and data protection.

Technical Expertise

• Proficiency in cryptographic techniques and secure data protection architectures.
• Knowledge of advanced data security frameworks such as Data Security Posture Management (DSPM), Cloud Access Security Brokers (CASB), and Security Service Posture Management (SSPM).
• Familiarity with network security protocols, cloud security practices, and core information assurance principles.
