Industrial Custodian

Overview

Green Thumb Industries (GTI) seeks a skilled Industrial Custodian to uphold a clean, safe, and well-maintained facility in Warwick, NY. The role involves ensuring the upkeep of building infrastructure and equipment functionality to maintain optimum working conditions and safety for all employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on major building systems and equipment.
• Plan and conduct regular inspections of critical equipment such as HVAC systems and fire extinguishers.
• Clean and disinfect all office spaces and restrooms thoroughly.
• Handle floor care, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Manage disposal of trash and recycling materials appropriately.
• Maintain exterior walkways by removing debris regularly.
• Dust and clean furniture and fixtures, including walls and ceilings when necessary, occasionally using ladders.
• Relocate cabinets, boxes, and equipment as required to facilitate cleaning.
• Maintain a comprehensive in-house inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies.
• Provide support to various departments within the facility as needed.
• Evaluate and suggest maintenance improvements to support business growth.

Working Environment

The position involves daily exposure to allergens such as cannabis, tree nuts, and coconut oil.

• Must successfully clear all required background screenings.
• Comply with all legal and company-specific industry standards.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and be at least 21 years of age.
• Obtain approval from the Department of Health for an Agent badge.
• Physically capable of lifting, carrying, and balancing weights up to 40 pounds unassisted, and up to 80 pounds with help.

Compensation

The role offers a competitive pay rate ranging approximately from $19.50 to $20.00 USD per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and location. Eligibility for a discretionary annual incentive program is available, tied to both organizational and individual performance.
