Role Overview
Join our team in Dubai as an Indirect Tax Manager and shape your career with confidence in a globally connected environment. This role offers the chance to deepen your technical expertise, engage creatively, and become a trusted advisor on GST and VAT matters during a transformative period of tax regulatory and technological change.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the successful execution of Indirect Tax engagements with a pragmatic and commercial focus while ensuring technical excellence.
- Manage sizable VAT implementation projects, coordinating client functional experts and consultants.
- Identify market opportunities and contribute to developing commercial offerings for new and existing clients.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, advising them on indirect taxes' impact on supply chains, finance, and accounting systems.
- Assess and address tax risks, provide guidance on international trade taxation, and assist with compliance related to customs regulations.
Experience and Qualifications
- Degree in economics, finance, tax, or accounting.
- Advanced qualifications such as a relevant Master's degree, CPA, ACA/CA, CMA, SOCPA, Law qualification, CTA, or equivalent tax credential.
- Minimum 6 years of relevant Indirect Tax professional experience, including VAT/GST advisory.
- Experience with Big 4 accounting firms preferred; applicants from law firms or relevant industry backgrounds will also be considered.
