Team and Reporting

Within the Finance department, you will ensure accuracy and integrity in the hotel’s revenue reporting, working closely with Finance leadership and operational teams. You will report directly to the Assistant Director of Finance and engage with key stakeholders across the business.

Role Overview

As the Income Audit Supervisor, you will lead the daily income auditing process, guaranteeing timely and accurate revenue settlements, reconciliations, and financial reports. Your role supports the hotel's financial controls by reviewing revenue transactions, spotting irregularities, maintaining accounting records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards, thereby contributing to precise financial reporting and business success.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily income audit operations to ensure accurate settlement and recording of revenue, including cash, credit card, and accounts receivable transactions.
• Review and validate daily revenue reports for timely distribution to management and other stakeholders.
• Oversee reconciliation of income-related balance sheet accounts such as guest ledger, city ledger, advance deposits, deferred income, and other revenue accounts.
• Audit revenue coding and classifications ensuring adherence to company policies and the Uniform System of Accounts.
• Investigate discrepancies in rates, adjustments, rebates, and other anomalies, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Support month-end closing processes including accruals and reconciling fees, taxes, and related revenue obligations.

Candidate Profile

• Strong expertise in hotel revenue accounting, auditing procedures, and financial controls.
• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to detect variances and identify areas for improvement.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
• Proficient in accounting systems and financial reporting tools for analysis and reconciliation.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships across departments and with stakeholders at various levels.
• Fluency in English required; additional language skills are a plus.
