Key Responsibilities

• Extend warm, enthusiastic, and genuine hospitality to children and their families upon arrival.
• Design and lead a variety of stimulating recreational, educational, creative, cultural, and wellness-related activities for children across diverse age groups.
• Provide continuous supervision to ensure children’s safety, wellbeing, and enjoyment at all times.
• Offer professional childcare and babysitting services as requested, adhering strictly to Rosewood’s child safeguarding policies and parental instructions.
• Craft personalized and meaningful experiences by recognizing each child’s unique interests and promoting active participation.
• Organize and prepare materials for activities, keeping the Explorer space clean, orderly, safe, and guest-ready.
• Manage accurate registration of children, attendance, and proper sign-in/sign-out procedures.
• Maintain toys, games, equipment, and facilities in excellent condition, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
• Assist with family events, seasonal festivities, and resort-wide activities as needed.
• Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and fellow team members, embodying Rosewood’s Relationship Hospitality standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Preferably hold a Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Hospitality, Recreation, Education, or a related discipline.
• At least two years’ experience working with children in environments such as luxury hotel Kids Clubs, childcare centers, nurseries, schools, summer camps, or recreational settings.
• Proven ability to plan and implement age-appropriate recreational and educational programming.
• Highly valued prior experience in professional childcare or babysitting roles.
• Knowledgeable about child development principles, safeguarding protocols, and child safety best practices.
• Possession of current Pediatric First Aid and CPR certification is a strong advantage.
• Possess an amiable, energetic, and patient demeanor with a sincere passion for working with children.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills complemented by a positive, service-oriented approach.
• Fluent spoken English is required; proficiency in additional languages is a bonus.
