Inclusion Support Tutor

Overview

The Department of Education and Training is seeking multiple Inclusion Support Tutors to join the Katherine School of the Air in Katherine, Northern Territory. These roles are focused on managing administrative operations while providing educational support to families and staff. Tutors will deliver tailored educational programs to students with additional needs through distance education, collaborating closely with families, community members, and professional networks to promote optimal student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage administrative duties related to educational support services.
• Develop and deliver high-quality educational programs for students with additional learning needs.
• Work in partnership with families, community groups, and professionals to support student education.
• Facilitate distance education effectively to ensure learning outcomes are met.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Experience aligned with Administrative Officer Level 3 responsibilities, with proficiency at 92% competency.
• Capability to support students with diverse additional needs in an educational context.

• Remuneration package ranges from $77,103 to $82,845, including a salary between $65,172 and $70,026.
