Job Summary

The tutor will deliver classes to Primary, Secondary, or Junior College students, following the Ministry of Education syllabus. Responsibilities include adapting teaching strategies, tracking student progress, engaging with parents, and assisting in curriculum development.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver interactive lessons to students across Primary, Secondary, and/or Junior College levels, aligned with MOE curriculum.
• Create and supply effective lesson materials, worksheets, and educational tools.
• Assess assignments and tests promptly to give timely feedback.
• Evaluate students' academic growth and provide personalized feedback to promote improvement.
• Modify instructional approaches to suit various learning styles and capabilities.
• Cultivate encouraging relationships with students to motivate optimal performance.
• Engage professionally with parents regarding student progress and development areas.
• Maintain discipline and foster a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere.
• Contribute creative ideas to curriculum design and enhancement.
• Support center operations, including enrollment events and academic workshops, as required.
• Take part in staff meetings and professional development to improve teaching expertise.

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree, preferably in Education or a related field.
• Strong academic performance in the subjects to be taught.
• Previous tutoring or classroom teaching experience is advantageous.
• Ability to teach small groups effectively.
• Fresh graduates with excellent academic records are encouraged to apply.
• Subjects of focus include:
  • Primary: English, Mathematics, Science, Chinese.
  • Secondary: English, Elementary Math, Additional Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Chinese.
  • Junior College: General Paper, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Economics.

Additional Details

• Working days: Five days per week, including weekends.
• Weekday classes take place from afternoon to evening; weekends from morning to afternoon.
• One weekday off per week.
