Job Summary

The Bakery Clerk role involves handling all responsibilities related to the bakery department professionally, efficiently, and accurately. This role focuses on delivering top-quality customer service, fostering customer loyalty, meeting customer requirements, and promoting positive engagement among employees and customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Comply with all Food Safety Protocols, Standard Operating Procedures, Health and Safety standards, corporate policies, and various organizational programs
• Provide excellent customer service tailored to bakery customers' needs
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the work area
• Handle and process customer bakery orders promptly
• Execute merchandising and promotional programs for bakery products
• Prepare and handle bakery items in accordance with store guidelines
• Promote bakery products actively to boost store sales
• Assist in training junior bakery staff members
• Manage bakery stock ordering and receiving following inventory control procedures
• Process shrinkage within the bakery department
• Ensure a clean and safe workplace environment as per company requirements
• Perform additional duties as assigned
