Role Summary

The Bakery Clerk performs a complete range of bakery duties professionally, responsibly, accurately, and promptly. This role focuses on delivering outstanding customer service, cultivating customer loyalty, meeting customer demands, and fostering engagement among employees and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Comply with all Food Safety Protocols, Standard Operating Procedures, Health and Safety regulations, corporate policies, and associated programs.
• Provide attentive customer service to satisfy customer needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentability of the workspace.
• Process bakery orders accurately and efficiently.
• Execute merchandising programs and product displays.
• Handle and prepare bakery items with care.
• Drive sales by actively promoting bakery products.
• Assist in training junior team members.
• Order and receive stock per company inventory control guidelines, as necessary.
• Manage department shrinkage effectively.
• Uphold a clean and safe work environment aligned with company standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

• Ability to work autonomously in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
