Role Summary

This full-time position located in Doha involves the engineering, development, and upkeep of identity and access management (IAM) solutions across various platforms including applications, infrastructure, and networks. Key daily activities involve overseeing security incidents, conducting vulnerability assessments, managing access control policies, and ensuring secure configuration of IT assets. Collaboration with project teams is essential to embed security considerations into telecom and IT projects, maintaining adherence to company policies and industry standards. The engineer is also tasked with producing security documentation, assisting in incident management, and advising on cybersecurity best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• In-depth understanding of cybersecurity and information security principles, including security frameworks, policies, and risk handling.
• Proficiency in application security concepts such as secure software development, authentication, authorization, and application protection.
• Solid knowledge of network security practices like firewall settings, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and designing secure networks.
• Experience conducting vulnerability assessments using appropriate scanning tools, analyzing vulnerabilities, and formulating remediation strategies.
• Hands-on experience with IAM technologies, such as Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), identity lifecycle management, and role-based access control.
• Professional certifications like CISSP, CISM, CEH, or other recognized security credentials are favorable.
• A bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, effective communication, and the capacity to work collaboratively in diverse teams on complex projects.
