Key Responsibilities
- Create comprehensive hydraulic engineering packages comprising specifications and designs.
- Work closely with drafting and modeling teams to produce precise design drawings.
- Engage in company-provided training programs to enhance your career.
- Provide expert consultation services to clients concerning hydraulic engineering.
- Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Advance your engineering and consulting career toward senior technical or leadership positions.
- Manage and lead multiple projects simultaneously to meet client deadlines.
- Demonstrate initiative by proactively anticipating challenges and taking action.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess at least 4 years of post-study experience in comparable Hydraulic Engineering roles within Australia.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, or a Diploma in Hydraulic Services Design.
- Preferred candidates will have or be seeking membership with Engineers Australia, CIBSE, or HCAA.
- Familiarity with the National Construction Code (NCC) and Australian standards relevant to hydraulic design.
- Understanding of utility requirements applicable to hydraulic engineering design.
- Competent in using Bluebeam PDF and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Experience managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines efficiently.
- Experience in one or more sectors such as residential, hospitality, commercial, education, retail, or healthcare is desirable.
