Position Summary

Join us in Singapore as a Process Engineer specializing in hybrid bonding technology with an emphasis on wet cleaning. In this role, you will design and enhance manufacturing processes, undertake data collection and analysis, perform hardware characterization, and troubleshoot engineering challenges. You'll measure film and surface properties, produce technical documentation, and interact with customers and vendors for problem resolution. The role involves collaboration with global R&D teams on cutting-edge projects within semiconductor and display industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and conduct complex process engineering experiments, collecting and analyzing data to optimize processes and push device performance to physical limits.
  • Develop innovative solutions to overcome challenges in hybrid bonding enablement and lead prototyping efforts.
  • Implement new technologies, products, and analytical tools into manufacturing processes.
  • Perform root cause analysis for intricate process engineering issues and resolve them effectively.
  • Prepare internal documentation, presentations, and comprehensive technical reports.
  • Engage with customers to address sophisticated process concerns independently.
  • Identify, select, and collaborate with suppliers and vendors.
  • Provide mentorship for junior team members and lead projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • PhD, Master's, or Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of specialized process development experience focusing on wet cleaning modules.
  • Strong conceptual and practical skills in complex problem-solving.
  • Creative thinker passionate about iterative hardware development and testing cycles.

Work Location and Terms

  • Based in Science Park II, with relocation to Tampines planned by end of 2026.
  • Full-time position with 10% travel expected.
  • Eligible for relocation assistance.
  • Employee type: Assignee / Regular.
