HVAC Technician

Position Overview

As an HVAC Technician based in Doha, Qatar, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems, air quality control devices, and refrigeration machinery. This role requires daily mechanical plant inspections, adjustment of environmental controls, and calibration of instrumentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and maintenance of HVAC and refrigeration equipment to ensure optimal operation.
• Monitor and regulate property temperature and analyze energy and utility consumption data.
• Calibrate controls, gauges, and meters; assemble, install, and repair electrical wiring and pipework including fittings and valves.
• Perform routine maintenance for pools and spas.
• Adhere strictly to all company safety and security protocols, promptly report hazards or incidents, and fulfill required safety trainings and certifications.
• Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality, safeguard company assets, and interact courteously with guests and colleagues.
• Develop positive interpersonal relationships and respond effectively to employee concerns.
• Ensure quality standards, and proactively identify and implement methods to improve efficiency, productivity, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
• Perform physical tasks including reaching overhead and below knee level, navigating confined and uneven spaces, lifting and moving objects over 100 pounds with assistance and up to 50 pounds independently.
• Undertake other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Technical, trade, or vocational education background.
• A minimum of three years’ experience in related HVAC work.
• Possession of EPA Universal Certification and a valid driver's license.
• Certification in HVAC trade mandatory.
• No supervisory experience necessary.
