Job description
Position Overview
This role involves overseeing the monitoring and upkeep of Building Management Systems (BMS) alongside Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems, reporting directly to a Project Manager or Control Engineer.
Primary Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues by validating the reported problems.
- Maintain foundational understanding of air conditioning, electrical systems, plumbing, and fire alarm setups, especially in high-traffic commercial buildings and warehouses.
- Possess knowledge and hands-on experience with BMS panel configurations and field device terminations.
- Participate actively in the testing and commissioning phases of BMS projects.
- Collaborate with Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) personnel and third-party vendors for maintenance operations.
- Interpret BMS blueprints related to piping, ductwork, containment systems, and other on-site MEP installations.
- Conduct regular on-site inspections as required to ensure system integrity.
- Suggest improvements for systems, processes, and procedures to enhance performance.
- Ensure compliance by guiding the team to follow local safety standards consistently.
