About the Role

Sterling Restaurants W.L.L. invites applications for a meticulous and results-focused Human Resources Officer to bolster the HR function in Doha, Qatar. This role demands expertise in managing HR operations, data analytics and reporting, workforce planning, as well as enhancing processes and systems to drive organizational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily HR operations including employee lifecycle management, upkeep of HR master data, and maintenance of workforce records.
  • Generate HR reports, dashboards, manpower and management analysis to support decision-making.
  • Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills—pivot tables, XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, data validation, and analytical tools—for comprehensive data handling.
  • Compose formal HR correspondence such as memos, letters, policies, procedures, and general business communications.
  • Design and update organizational charts, reporting frameworks, and process diagrams using Microsoft Visio.
  • Assist in HR management system (HRMS) implementations and improvements by contributing to requirement gathering, data preparation, testing (UAT), and launch support.
  • Participate in HR audits, compliance adherence, recruitment reporting, and organizational development projects.
  • Lead manpower budgeting and workforce planning activities, including calculating annual headcount needs, cost analysis per position, and monitoring workforce against budgets.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies, standard operating procedures, workflows, and detailed process documentation.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Possess a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, IT, or a closely related area.
  • Hold professional HR certifications such as CHRP, CIPD, or an equivalent credential.
  • Bring at least five years of pertinent HR experience, ideally within renowned or sizable organizations.
  • Demonstrate solid practical understanding of HR operations, information systems, people analytic methods, and reporting standards.
  • Have preferred experience with HRMS deployment and enhancement projects.
  • Exhibit expert-level competence in Microsoft Office suite, notably Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Possess strong communication skills in English, both written and oral.
  • Showcase excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving abilities, and strong interpersonal communication.
