About the Role
Killashee Hotel seeks a dedicated Human Resources Executive to join our team in Naas, County Kildare. This role supports the Head of HR and People to ensure efficient HR operations and cultivate a positive employee experience throughout the entire team member lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily administrative activities of the HR department.
- Promote employee engagement and a positive workplace culture through effective communication and management.
- Respond promptly and professionally to staff inquiries.
- Coordinate the complete recruitment process, including job advertisement, candidate shortlisting, interviewing, and job offers.
- Deliver comprehensive onboarding for new hires, ensuring necessary documentation, training, and support are provided.
- Maintain accurate and compliant employee records.
- Ensure adherence to statutory training requirements across the hotel.
- Prepare and submit weekly payroll data every Monday.
- Implement HR projects and initiatives within the hotel.
- Maintain ongoing communication with department heads and leadership teams.
- Monitor employee absenteeism and take appropriate actions.
- Uphold confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive employee information.
Essential Qualifications and Attributes
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar HR or recruitment role.
- Possession or pursuit of a qualification in Human Resources Management.
- Strong understanding of HR administration and employment practices.
- Excellent communication capabilities.
- Self-driven with a positive and motivated approach.
- Passion for hospitality and delivering superior service.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with employees and clients.
- Skills in motivating and empowering teams to enhance performance and meet targets.
