Job description

Role Overview

The Human Resources Coordinator position at Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts in Riyadh involves managing HR administrative tasks to support smooth operations within the division. Working full-time onsite, this role entails maintaining filing systems, handling communications, supporting candidate applications, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and organize filing systems for employee and HR documents efficiently.
  • Draft and type office correspondence using a computer system.
  • Manage mail distribution and routing appropriately.
  • Track and order HR supplies and forms on a continual basis.
  • Answer phone calls professionally and record messages accurately.
  • Create new personnel files for employees and assist walk-in candidates with application procedures.
  • Maintain a designated clean and accessible space for application completion, accommodating individuals with disabilities.
  • Address employee and management inquiries regarding HR programs, policies, and guidelines.
  • Notify HR management promptly about any employee relations issues within the division or property.
  • Safeguard the confidentiality and security of employee records, files, and related information.
  • Ensure precise management of all employee documentation including interview records and eligibility verification forms (e.g., I-9 forms).
  • Adhere to all company policies and maintain a professional personal appearance.
  • Report workplace accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management.
  • Welcome guests as per company standards, communicate clearly and professionally, and utilize appropriate telephone etiquette.
  • Foster strong working relationships with colleagues, supporting team objectives and responding appropriately to concerns.
  • Uphold quality standards and locate work information through computer systems and point-of-sale systems as needed.
  • Perform light physical tasks such as moving or lifting objects up to 10 pounds unassisted.
  • Carry out additional reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent GED.
  • Relevant work experience: At least one year of experience in a related role.
  • No supervisory experience required.
  • No licenses or certifications required.
