Overview

A technology firm seeks a Human Resources Business Partner to support multiple locations across India. This role entails providing strategic and operational HR guidance, emphasizing employee relations and organizational effectiveness tailored to fast-paced, matrixed environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive HR business partnering services with over a decade of progressive experience in employee relations within diverse Indian workplaces.
  • Collaborate extensively with Engineering, Technology, Commercial, and business teams to support all facets of the employee lifecycle.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of employment law, employee relations protocols, workplace investigations, and consultation procedures to manage risk while balancing business priorities.
  • Independently oversee complex employee relations cases from initial intake through investigation and resolution, maintaining meticulous documentation and engaging stakeholders effectively.
  • Manage high-volume, sensitive issues such as conflicts, misconduct, performance challenges, grievances, disciplinary actions, policy breaches, and terminations with discretion and professionalism.
  • Conduct objective and comprehensive investigations, evaluate risks, develop action plans, and communicate results clearly to leadership and employees.
  • Advise senior management on complicated workforce matters, organizational health, performance oversight, and risk reduction approaches.
  • Lead organizational change projects including restructurings and workforce consultations, ensuring legal compliance.
  • Employ strong stakeholder management and influence techniques to address competing demands and achieve balanced outcomes.
  • Utilize workforce analytics and HR data to recognize trends and proactively address organizational challenges.
  • Act as the subject matter expert on local employment legislation, employee relations best practices, investigations, consultation requirements, and labor market developments.
  • Coordinate with Legal and HR Centers of Excellence to maintain policy consistency and adherence to statutory requirements.
  • Stay abreast of current legislative changes and evolving employment laws, providing practical advice to minimize risks.
  • Maintain resilience and professionalism when managing multiple complex cases in a dynamic, high-volume work setting.
