Job description
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Human Resource Manager to oversee comprehensive HR operations across both factory and office environments located in NCR. The role demands leadership in strategic hiring, developing HR systems, enforcing discipline, and managing performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full-spectrum HR activities for factory and office personnel.
- Drive urgent and strategic recruitment for various roles including technical, supervisory, blue-collar, and white-collar positions.
- Design and implement HR systems, disciplinary procedures, and performance monitoring tools.
- Manage talent acquisition for diverse roles such as factory head, supervisors, welders, fitters, refrigeration technicians, sales and customer service staff, digital marketers, videographers/editors, and administrative personnel.
- Utilize recruitment channels including job portals, consultants, references, ITI institutes, and industrial clusters for sourcing candidates.
- Handle candidate screening, salary negotiations, offer finalization, and onboarding processes.
- Oversee factory HR operations including attendance, leave, overtime, shift schedules, discipline enforcement, misconduct resolution, grievance handling, induction, and retention.
- Prepare and verify payroll including salary sheets, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements like PF, ESI, bonuses, and overtime.
- Maintain thorough employee records and legal documentation in accordance with labor laws and factory regulations.
- Develop monthly KPIs and appraisal frameworks including increment matrices, probation reviews, and performance improvement plans.
- Create SOPs, policies for leave, attendance, disciplinary actions and conduct periodic process and behavioral training along with induction modules and departmental SOPs.
Candidate Profile & Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of HR experience with at least 5 years in manufacturing or factory HR operations.
- Proven experience in blue-collar hiring strongly preferred.
- Practical, results-oriented approach to HR management.
- Graduate degree in any discipline (B.Com, B.A., BBA or equivalent) is required.
- Additional diploma or certification in HR, labour laws, payroll, PF/ESI, or industrial relations is advantageous but MBA is not mandatory.
- Preference for candidates with hands-on factory or plant HR experience over purely corporate HR backgrounds.
Compensation and Location
The position is based in the National Capital Region (NCR) with responsibilities spanning both the factory and office. The offered monthly salary ranges from ₹30,000 to ₹40,000 per month.
