Role Overview
As an HR Manager at Wishup, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and execute daily HR operations throughout the employee lifecycle. Collaborating closely with the HR Head and leadership, you'll implement HR procedures, ensure seamless processes, and maintain high employee satisfaction. The position demands proactive ownership, meticulous attention to detail, and the capability to efficiently handle multiple HR processes within a dynamic work environment.
Key Role Details
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Location: Bengaluru - Onsite
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, UK Shift (3:00 PM to 12:30 AM IST)
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage the complete employee lifecycle including onboarding, documentation, background checks, and exits ensuring smooth transitions and accurate record-keeping.
- Execute HR tasks as directed by the HR Head and coordinate with other teams to uphold timely HR initiatives and service level agreements.
- Assist payroll processing with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness, manage employee benefits and reimbursements, and liaise with finance and vendors when required.
- Drive employee engagement by rolling out activities and programs that foster a strong company culture, and monitor participation and feedback for continual enhancement.
- Support performance management cycles by tracking reviews, ensuring follow-ups, and maintaining associated performance records.
- Serve as the first point of contact for all employee-related inquiries and concerns, managing grievances promptly and escalating complex issues to HR leadership when necessary.
- Ensure full compliance with HR policies and labor laws, maintain requisite documentation for audits, and assist in compliance reporting.
- Maintain and update HR dashboards and trackers, and create comprehensive reports covering attendance, attrition, and engagement metrics to provide leadership with data-driven insights.
Candidate Profile and Qualifications
- Possess 4 to 8 years of experience in HR, particularly focusing on operational and execution roles.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated expertise in employee lifecycle management, HR operations, payroll, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience working within fast-growing startups or similarly dynamic environments.
- Strong multitasking abilities paired with high attention to detail and effective stakeholder coordination skills.
- Adaptability to manage distributed or remote teams effectively.
- Familiarity with HR technology platforms such as HRIS, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and performance management tools.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving capabilities, and a strong ownership mentality.
Technical Requirements
- Possess a laptop with a minimum of 8GB RAM if using Windows or 3GB RAM if using Mac.
- Processor requirement: Minimum Intel i5 8th generation or higher.
- Functional webcam and headset for communication.
