About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Human Data Specialist to join our team remotely on a full-time basis. This role entails managing data collection, validation, and annotation operations to produce superior training datasets tailored for AI systems. The ideal candidate will oversee annotation teams and work closely with technical stakeholders to ensure that data quality standards meet project goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enforce detailed data annotation guidelines ensuring dataset consistency and accuracy.
- Lead, train, and supervise teams of annotators, guaranteeing compliance with deadlines and quality targets.
- Partner with cross-disciplinary teams to determine data prerequisites for AI model training and assessments.
- Oversee annotation workflows to optimize efficiency, scalability, and conformity to client-specific standards.
- Assist in creating frameworks and metrics for evaluating data quality and annotator performance.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience managing extensive data annotation initiatives focused on AI/ML datasets.
- Expertise in data validation methods and quality assurance processes for both structured and unstructured data.
- Strong leadership capabilities to guide annotation teams and improve workflow productivity.
- Familiarity with annotation software tools such as Label Studio, Prodigy, or equivalent platforms.
- Competence in interpreting complex technical requirements and transforming them into clear annotation directives.
