HR Truck Driver

About the Role

Team Global Express seeks an experienced HR Truck Driver for a permanent, full-time position based at the Karratha Depot. This role offers an hourly rate above market standards along with additional location allowances and comprehensive benefits. The company prioritizes employee safety and provides all necessary personal protective equipment and uniforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Act professionally when collecting and delivering freight to and from customers, ensuring timely and consistent service.
• Securely load and unload freight adhering to safety regulations.
• Follow scanning and Proof of Delivery protocols and practice safe, lawful driving.
• Comply with Team Global Express's workplace health and safety policies.
• Evaluate acceptance or rejection of Dangerous Goods as per legal requirements.
• Manage all consignment documents and manifests at pickup points.
• Ensure freight packaging is effective and safe.

Candidate Profile

• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Possession of a current valid manual HR driver's license with relevant driving experience.
• Familiarity with handheld barcode scanners and radio communication devices.
• Experience in picking up and delivering general and express freight.
• Awareness of Dangerous Goods handling procedures.
• Proficiency in using Load Restraint Systems and adhering to National Transport Commission's guidelines.
