HR Officer

Overview

Nord Anglia Education is seeking an HR Officer to join the Etqan Global Academy team based in Doha, Qatar. This role involves supporting the school's HR operations to foster a compliant, effective HR environment that supports leadership and staff well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing daily HR operational activities across the school.
• Ensuring employee records—both digital and physical—are accurate and compliant.
• Drafting and processing employee contracts, amendments, renewals, and formal correspondence.
• Facilitating onboarding and offboarding processes, including coordinating visa documentation when necessary.
• Managing the recruitment process from candidate documentation to offer issuance.
• Collaborating with Finance to prepare monthly payroll inputs and manage employee benefits administration.
• Providing routine employee relations support while escalating complex or sensitive cases to the HR Manager.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Have between 4 and 6 years of HR experience, preferably within educational institutions or regulated environments.
• Demonstrate solid understanding of local labour laws and employment practices, specifically Qatar regulations preferred.
• Experience handling payroll procedures and managing HR information systems.
• Exhibit excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Confident in engaging with school leadership and communicating effectively.
