Position Overview
The HR Supervisor is tasked with overseeing all administrative functions related to company personnel. This role involves crafting recruitment tactics, managing employee benefits and payroll, monitoring staff conduct, and ensuring smooth onboarding processes for new hires.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Design training programs and performance management initiatives to clearly communicate employee responsibilities.
- Handle the full recruitment cycle including sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and orienting new employees.
- Keep job descriptions current and compliant with applicable local, state, and federal laws.
- Develop and maintain a competitive and updated employee compensation strategy grounded in market analysis and salary surveys.
- Address and resolve workplace conflicts and employee concerns effectively.
- Utilize performance management systems to provide coaching and constructive feedback to staff.
- Ensure consistent enforcement and application of all HR policies across the company.
- Update and manage organizational charts and employee directories.
- Oversee maintenance of HR systems and internal processes.
- Conduct evaluations of employee performance and salary reviews.
- Offer leadership and support to HR team members.
Required Education and Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong communication abilities both verbal and written.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience operating Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS).
- Broad understanding of HR practices including compensation, performance management, workplace safety, recruitment, and employee relations, applied compliantly to relevant regulations.
- Capability to foster an organizational culture that values diversity, inclusivity, and teamwork.
- Analytical skills to assess data for the purposes of strategic workforce planning.
