About the Role
Starting January 2027 with flexibility for an earlier start, Nord Anglia Education invites applications for an HR Manager position at Compass International School Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will oversee comprehensive HR functions, collaborating with the Principal and leadership team to deliver an impactful HR service aligned with the school's strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end recruitment processes for all school positions in close coordination with the Principal and leadership.
- Serve as the primary contact for employee relations, offering advice, coaching, and mediation support to both managers and staff.
- Manage daily HR operations including payroll inputs, contract renewals, attendance tracking, and maintaining personnel files.
- Ensure compliance with Qatar Labour Law, Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE) directives, and Nord Anglia HR policies.
- Administer employee visa renewals, residency procedures, and exit formalities.
- Coordinate the school's annual appraisal and performance evaluation cycles.
- Assist managers with setting goals, providing feedback, and planning development initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Principal on workforce planning, remuneration, and people management priorities.
- Advocate for diversity, inclusion, and wellbeing within the school community.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline; CIPD certification preferred.
- At least 5 to 7 years of generalist or managerial HR experience, ideally within a school or service-focused environment.
- Deep knowledge of Qatar Labour Law, employment regulations, and immigration requirements.
- Demonstrated success managing high-volume recruitment and onboarding activities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence senior leadership.
- Highly organised, detail-focused, and capable of managing multiple deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficiency in HR information systems and data management; familiarity with SuccessFactors is advantageous.
- Culturally sensitive, empathetic, and able to operate effectively in a diverse international setting.
