Job Overview
The HR Manager is responsible for designing and deploying employment initiatives that align workforce capabilities with critical business objectives through effective organizational interventions.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as an internal advisor and leader to management in crafting and deploying employment processes.
- Assess HR initiatives to determine suitable organizational effectiveness actions that support business goals.
- Create and implement plans for organizational effectiveness initiatives grounded in company values and culture.
- Guide leadership and executives through coaching focused on personal and organizational development.
- Help define and develop a competency framework utilized across organizational programs.
- Lead succession planning efforts to ensure future leadership readiness.
- Design or adjust performance management systems to align with strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with management to understand specific workforce needs arising from changes in policies, regulations, or technologies.
- Establish leadership development programs that equip current and future leaders with essential skills.
- Serve as a change facilitator to support major operational transformations.
- Conduct team-building sessions to strengthen team cohesion.
- Work alongside HR and line managers to fulfill cultural requirements including diversity and affirmative action initiatives.
- Willingness to travel as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related discipline from a recognized four-year institution.
- Between five and eight years of relevant professional experience or a comparable mix of education and experience.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license may be necessary.
Supervisory Duties
Responsible for management duties including conducting interviews, hiring, assigning and supervising tasks, performing performance evaluations, administering rewards and disciplinary actions, resolving complaints, and ensuring staff are trained in their roles and safety protocols.
Compensation
Monthly salary ranges from SGD 5,500 to SGD 7,500.
