Job description
Position Overview
This permanent, full-time role is based at the Scanline Rocklea site in Queensland. The HR Driver will operate rigid tanker trucks to collect used cooking oil from various customer locations and transport it to the processing plant for recycling. The role requires adherence to company safety and operational protocols, including proper handling of paperwork and records.
Work Schedule and Compensation
- Start time at 4:00 AM, Monday to Friday
- Hourly pay of $36.05 plus overtime penalties
- Overtime work available and compensated accordingly
- Uniform and personal protective equipment provided
Key Responsibilities
- Collect used cooking oil from multiple customer sites using company vehicles
- Operate vehicles and equipment safely in line with company regulations
- Complete accurate documentation related to vehicle operations and cargo
- Assist with yard, processing, and refinery duties when needed
Candidate Profile
- Must be available for early starts at 4:00 AM
- Hold a valid manual HR license with a clean driving history
- Capable of working 10 to 12 hour shifts when necessary
- Able to undertake regional overnight stays occasionally, with accommodation and allowances provided
- Strong commitment to safety with a zero harm mindset
- Demonstrate reliability, a positive attitude, and eagerness to learn
- Willing to undergo pre-employment medical exams including drug and alcohol screening
