Overview

We are seeking a dedicated HR Data Analyst to enhance HR reporting, workforce analytics, HR system data management, and data governance within our organization. This position emphasizes advanced Power BI capabilities alongside practical experience managing HR data in SAP SuccessFactors, focusing on maintaining data quality and governance standards.

Primary Duties

  • Create and sustain Power BI dashboards and reports to deliver actionable workforce insights to HR teams and senior leadership.
  • Generate routine and on-demand reports detailing headcount, turnover, employee movements, workforce demographics, organizational structures, and key HR performance indicators.
  • Conduct analysis on HR data sets to detect patterns, irregularities, and data gaps, offering insights to HR and business partners.
  • Convert HR business needs into impactful reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Guarantee the consistency and accuracy of HR metrics, terminologies, and report outputs.
  • Assist in establishing and upholding HR data models, reporting standards, and KPI definitions.

HR System Responsibilities

  • Provide system administration support, particularly for SAP SuccessFactors modules with a focus on Employee Central.
  • Manage master data related to employees, organizations, roles, and positions.
  • Deliver training to HR users on SuccessFactors and support large-scale data uploads, including preparation, validation, and reconciliation post-upload.
  • Investigate and fix data discrepancies, errors, and system-related challenges.
  • Promote data standardization, process enhancements, and implementation/adoption of tools such as SAP SuccessFactors, AI chatbots, RPAs, and Power BI.

Data Governance Focus

  • Aid in deploying and refining HR Data Governance frameworks, policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Define and uphold HR data standards encompassing definitions, ownership, quality benchmarks, and validation protocols.
  • Monitor data quality metrics and implement control measures across Employee Central and other HR databases.
  • Conduct regular data quality audits to identify duplicate, incomplete, or inaccurate employee records.
  • Clarify roles and responsibilities regarding HR data ownership and stewardship.
  • Maintain comprehensive HR data dictionaries and governance documentation.
  • Track data quality KPIs and produce reports highlighting issues, trends, and progress on remediation efforts.
  • Diagnose root causes of persistent data quality problems and engage stakeholders in corrective action.
  • Supervise governance around HR data modifications, including approvals, validations, and auditing.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, retention, and regulatory mandates regarding HR data handling.
  • Support periodic data audits for internal and external compliance, providing necessary documentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related discipline.
  • Between three to five or more years of experience in HR analytics, HR information systems, reporting, or data management.
  • Proven hands-on experience creating Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis capabilities.
  • Practical experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central module.
  • Knowledge in performing mass data imports and bulk uploads within SuccessFactors.
  • Deep understanding of HR master data and employee lifecycle processes.
  • Experience with data quality management, governance, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation methods.
  • Strong analytical reasoning and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to manage sensitive employee data confidentially and ethically.

Preferred Experience and Skills

  • Familiarity with Power Query and DAX within Power BI data modeling.
  • Experience developing or supporting frameworks for HR Data Governance.
  • Knowledgeable in data ownership, stewardship, quality management, and dictionary maintenance.
  • Experience with SuccessFactors reporting and extracting HR data.
  • Exposure to HRIS implementation, upgrades, migrations, or integration projects.
  • Understanding of data privacy and regulatory considerations related to employee information.
  • Ability to work with large and complex HR datasets.
