About the Role
Qatar Airways is seeking a dedicated HR Business Partner to be part of its dynamic human resources team based in Doha. This role involves acting as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, offering expert counsel on workforce planning, talent management, organizational development, and transformative business projects.
This position thrives in a fast-paced environment where collaboration with executive leaders and line managers is essential to enhance organizational effectiveness and devise innovative human resource solutions that fuel the airline's sustained expansion and success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the business, including strategy, operations, budgets, forecasts, and employee dynamics, while identifying key influencers and workforce sentiments.
- Guide business managers in strategic thinking, encouraging consideration of organizational impacts and optimal utilization of personnel to advance success.
- Foster transparent and constructive communication between employees, management, and leadership.
- Engage actively in all phases of strategic business planning and implementation, influencing decisions effectively.
- Maintain a customer-focused approach to HR service delivery.
- Assist in crafting robust strategies for problem resolution.
- Operate proactively to deliver measurable improvements and clarify business and HR requirements, with ongoing evaluation of results.
- Support HR leaders in aligning human resource strategies with business objectives, including policy formulation and strategic discussions.
- Lead workforce planning efforts via recruitment, employee growth, and compensation strategies to support organizational change and development.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned by the Head of Department.
Qualifications and Skills
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification coupled with at least six years of relevant professional experience.
- Thorough knowledge of HR management best practices and theories.
- Fluency in English with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience managing HR practices such as case management, employee relations, and organizational design.
- Proven coaching abilities and experience leading HR initiatives.
- Advantageous to have prior exposure to retail or travel sectors.
- Comfortable working with a diverse workforce.
- Proficiency in data analysis and advanced Excel skills are desirable.
