Role Overview
As an HR Business Partner based in Singapore, you will drive the organizational design of an AI-embedded business. Partnering with leadership across Technology and Operations, you will support expansion, elevate team output, and integrate the company’s core philosophy "Act from First Principles" throughout operational processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Align human resources strategies with organizational objectives of Big Data, Engineering, and Commercial divisions.
- Manage full recruitment lifecycle for mid to senior-level technical roles and ensure effective onboarding in a dynamic startup setting.
- Establish and maintain data-backed performance management systems while nurturing a multicultural, global workforce culture centered on mutual success.
- Utilize AI-powered solutions to streamline HR processes including reporting, candidate screening, and employee support, aiming for a lean operational team.
- Ensure adherence to Singapore labor laws, manage payroll functions, and oversee local employee relations.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Between 5 and 8 years’ experience in HR Business Partner roles, preferably in large technology companies or fast-growing AI startups.
- Demonstrated expertise in scaling technical teams within Singapore’s Big Data, Engineering, or AI sectors.
- Skilled in data-informed decision-making for workforce planning, retention strategies, and evaluation metrics.
- In-depth understanding of Singapore’s Employment Act, EP/COMPASS framework, and Ministry of Manpower regulations.
- Ability to diagnose and address organizational challenges by fundamental analysis rather than conventional HR guidelines.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin at a native proficiency level for effective collaboration with global teams.
