Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and motivated HR Assistant to bolster our expanding Human Resources team. This position provides comprehensive administrative, operational, and coordination support throughout the entire employee lifecycle. Collaborating closely with the HR Manager, the role encompasses recruitment, onboarding, HR administration, employee engagement, learning and development, HR reporting, payroll data input, and HRIS management to ensure smooth daily HR functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate recruitment efforts including scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates, and onboarding new hires.
- Maintain accurate employee records and manage HR documentation.
- Assist with payroll preparation by administering attendance, leave, and overtime data.
- Manage employee information within HRIS systems ensuring accuracy and compliance with Nexans reporting standards.
- Prepare monthly HR reports, dashboards, key performance indicators (KPIs), and submit data to the HR Data Factory.
- Provide support to employees for HR-related questions and HRIS usage.
- Support learning and development activities, including training coordination and employee growth plans.
- Organize employee engagement events and internal communications.
- Support policy implementation and ensure adherence to Qatar Labour Law and company procedures.
- Assist in audits, HR projects, and initiatives aimed at continuous improvement.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- 2 to 3 years experience as an HR Generalist.
- Sound knowledge of Qatar Labour Law.
- Hands-on experience with recruitment, payroll administration, employee engagement, learning and development, and HR operations.
- Proficiency in HRIS or ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities with advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Highly organized with effective time management skills.
- Discrete and professional handling of confidential information.
- Proactive attitude with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Ability to collaborate within a multicultural manufacturing environment.
