Housekeeping Attendant

Position Overview

Join the EDITION hotel team located at Al Bateen Marina in Abu Dhabi as a Housekeeping Attendant. In this role, you will provide exceptional cleaning and maintenance services, ensuring guest rooms and hotel facilities meet the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to guest and departmental requests.
• Prepare and transport housekeeping carts stocked with necessary supplies to designated areas.
• Enter guest rooms following proper procedures, ensuring rooms are vacant before entry.
• Replenish guest room amenities and supplies.
• Change linens and towels with fresh, clean items; make beds and fold linen.
• Clean bathrooms thoroughly and remove trash, dirty linens, and room service items.
• Inspect rooms for presence and proper functioning of appliances.
• Straighten desk items, furniture, and appliances; dust and polish furnishings and remove marks from walls.
• Vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties in rooms and hallways.
• Abide by all company policies including safety, security, and confidentiality protocols.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries immediately.
• Maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times.
• Greet and assist guests warmly, anticipate their service needs, and support colleagues in achieving team goals.
• Perform physical tasks such as moving or lifting objects up to 25 pounds unaided, operating housekeeping carts on various surfaces, and maintaining various postures (standing, sitting, kneeling) during shifts.
• Complete other duties as requested by supervisors.

Qualifications and Preferences

• No formal education credential (high school diploma or GED) required.
• No prior related work or supervisory experience necessary.
• No license or certification required.
