Role Overview

Join Pomeroy Lodging as a Housekeeping Attendant and help deliver an exceptional guest experience through maintaining impeccable cleanliness throughout the hotel. This role is crucial in establishing a positive and lasting first impression by ensuring every guest area is sanitized, organized, and welcoming, from the lobby to individual rooms.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly while maintaining friendly, attentive, and professional interactions, addressing complaints effectively.
• Ensure guest rooms, public spaces, and storage areas are flawlessly clean and visually appealing to create optimum first impressions.
• Prepare for shifts by stocking housekeeping carts with approved supplies and verifying equipment such as vacuums, mops, and dusters are clean and functional.
• Perform cleaning duties including vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, polishing, and replenishing supplies across assigned guest rooms.
• Respect guest privacy and property, following established lost and found procedures for items discovered in rooms or public areas.
• Comply with all hotel emergency protocols and safety procedures.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping or hotel operations is advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Meticulous attention to detail and dedication to high-quality work.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

• Capability to work extended hours and weekends during busy periods.
• Work is performed in a fast-paced setting requiring continuous physical activity and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and lift items weighing up to 30 pounds.
