Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Attendant to become an essential part of our team. If you take pride in maintaining cleanliness, enjoy organizing spaces, and appreciate the benefits of daily physical activity, this role is ideal for you.
Role Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences by ensuring pristine cleanliness throughout the hotel, which shapes visitors' first impressions.
- Maintain a friendly, professional attitude when interacting with guests, responding thoughtfully to any concerns or complaints.
- Thoroughly clean guest rooms, public spots, and storage areas, guaranteeing a spotless and inviting environment.
- Prepare for shifts by equipping carts with all necessary cleaning materials and ensuring equipment such as vacuums and dusters are clean and functional.
- Perform vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, polishing, and restocking tasks efficiently.
- Respect guest belongings and privacy, following established lost and found protocols for any items discovered.
- Comprehend and implement all emergency procedures relevant to the hotel.
Qualifications and Skills
- Prior experience in housekeeping, specifically within hotel settings, is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal capabilities to engage positively with guests and team members.
- Meticulous attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality workmanship.
Work Environment and Conditions
The position involves working in a dynamic, fast-paced atmosphere that demands physical stamina and the ability to multitask. Expect occasional long shifts and weekend work to address peak business periods. The job requires independent functioning and the capacity to lift items weighing up to 30 pounds.
