Overview
We are seeking a personable and energetic Breakfast Attendant to become a valuable member of our hospitality team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a lively, fast-paced atmosphere and enjoys creating a welcoming environment for guests as their first point of contact each morning.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a warm, attentive, and professional demeanor while interacting with guests and handle any complaints with care.
- Ensure the breakfast area, food stations, and guest touchpoints are impeccably clean and visually appealing at all times.
- Greet guests promptly and courteously as they enter the breakfast room.
- Prepare a well-stocked pantry with fresh and dry ingredients, adhering to all menu specifications before the start of service.
- Arrange breakfast stations, brew coffee, and cook hot dishes to provide an inviting breakfast presentation.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of food and beverage offerings and comply with all health and safety protocols.
Qualifications and Skills
- Prior experience working in a hotel environment is an advantage.
- Possession of a valid Food Safe Certificate is mandatory.
- Strong customer service abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions
This position involves early morning shifts throughout the week, including weekends, with occasional midday, afternoon, or evening shifts as required. It demands prolonged standing, frequent physical activity, and adaptability to temperature changes between kitchen and guest areas.
