About the Role
We are seeking a committed and methodical Housekeeping Associate to ensure the cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance of a corporate location in Mount Road, Chennai. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with housekeeping routines, knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment use, and safe cleaning protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and upkeep throughout the premises.
- Conduct routine tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and cleaning designated areas.
- Sanitize washrooms, common spaces, work areas, and other assigned sections thoroughly.
- Manage and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly, understanding correct dilution ratios.
- Perform glass-cleaning duties with appropriate tools and techniques.
- Carry out high-rise or elevated cleaning tasks while adhering to safety norms.
- Ensure all cleaning tools, equipment, and materials remain in good working condition.
- Follow established cleaning schedules, safety procedures, and standard operating protocols.
- Maintain excellent hygiene and professional presentation standards in the workplace.
- Report any safety, maintenance, or cleaning concerns to supervisory personnel.
- Handle proper storage and usage of housekeeping chemicals and consumables.
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in housekeeping roles is preferred.
- Proficient in sweeping, mopping, dusting, and glass cleaning techniques.
- Understanding of chemical usage including dilution processes is necessary.
- Experience with high-rise or elevated cleaning is advantageous.
- Physically fit and able to perform all housekeeping tasks effectively.
- Punctuality, discipline, and ability to work collaboratively within a team are essential.
- Maintains good personal grooming and hygiene habits.
Terms and Compensation
Position is based onsite at Mount Road, Chennai. The monthly take-home salary ranges between ₹16,500 and ₹17,500.
