About the Role

Our team members play a critical role in delivering exceptional vacation experiences worldwide. We seek a Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness and uphold quality standards at our Canmore resort, promoting guest satisfaction and ensuring safety compliance according to company and Canadian regulations like WHMIS.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of resort accommodations including bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, and living areas; maintain continuous cleanliness throughout the resort; adhere to housekeeping standards. Duties involve vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, linen management, restocking supplies, and waste disposal. Assist with cleaning common areas during downtime. Monitor and report any damage or theft to supervisors. (Approximately 60% of time)
• Foster positive relationships with guests and associates by professionally addressing inquiries and concerns, aiming to resolve issues to enhance guest experience. Escalate unresolved matters to management and propose service recovery solutions. Collaborate daily with other departments to promote teamwork and service quality. (About 10% of time)
• Ensure strict adherence to operational policies, safety, resort procedures, and service department standards. (15% of time)
• Embody the company’s "Count On Me" philosophy by responding attentively and respectfully to guests and colleagues, delivering exceptional hospitality. (10% of time)
• Perform additional tasks as assigned. (5% of time)

Travel Requirements

This position does not require travel. Any necessary off-site training will be local and take between half to a full day.

Qualifications and Skills

• Preferred education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• No specific training required.
• Detail-oriented with good organizational abilities.
• Knowledge of cleaning products, chemicals, and equipment.
• Ability to understand written instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Strong commitment to customer service.
• Professional appearance and a positive, proactive attitude when interacting with guests and staff.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
• Experience preferred: At least six months in housekeeping or related field.
