About the Role
The Housekeeping team plays a key role in creating a home-like atmosphere for hotel guests. As a Housekeeper, your efforts contribute directly to ensuring guests have a pleasant and comfortable stay.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning, dusting, polishing, and vacuuming to ensure guest rooms and bathrooms meet hotel quality standards.
- Replace linens, make beds, and maintain bathrooms in pristine condition.
- Replenish guest room amenities such as soaps and shampoos.
- Organize linens, restock housekeeping carts, and prepare for the subsequent day's tasks before ending your shift.
- Offer warm greetings to guests encountered during your shift, promoting a welcoming environment.
Requirements and Physical Demands
Proficiency in basic English communication is necessary. This position involves constant physical activity including bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying items typically weighing 25-30 pounds, with occasional lifts up to 50 pounds. You must be capable of standing and walking during your entire shift and able to perform repetitive motions throughout.
