Job Summary

This role involves performing light cleaning tasks to keep healthcare facilities clean and orderly. Responsibilities include bed making, linen replacement, room and hallway cleaning, and vacuuming.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized, high-quality customer service.
• Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors to maintain cleanliness.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, and window treatments.
• Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery when needed.
• Dust and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Clean metal fixtures and fittings thoroughly.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste hygienically.
• Clean wash basins, mirrors, bathtubs, and showers.
• Wipe glass surfaces to maintain clarity.
• Make beds and change linens as necessary.
• Arrange furniture and amenities according to standards.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries and housekeeping requests.
• Handle housekeeping issues such as spills or broken items professionally.
• Work collaboratively with team members and present a professional demeanor.
• Perform additional assigned duties as required.

Schedule and Location

Positions available on both full-time and part-time bases with shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, and 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Shifts may vary with further details provided during the interview. The workplace is located at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center, 126 Highway 280 West, Americus, GA 31719. Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred.

Compensation

The hourly wage for this position is $15.00 per hour.
