Job Summary

The Housekeeper performs light cleaning and maintenance duties at facilities such as hospitals and health networks to ensure they remain clean, orderly, and welcoming. Responsibilities include bed-making, linen replenishment, vacuuming, floor care, and responding to housekeeping needs promptly.

Work Schedule and Location

This full-time role is based at Lehigh Valley Health Network located at 2545 Schoenersville Road, Bethlehem, PA 18017. The schedule runs Monday through Friday with rotating weekends and holidays, from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with additional details to be discussed during the interview.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Deliver attentive, high-quality customer service with focus on detail.
• Maintain floors by sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, polishing, and vacuuming carpets and rugs.
• Clean and polish furniture, metal fixtures, glass surfaces, wash basins, tubs and showers.
• Make beds, change linens, and rearrange furniture to set standards.
• Empty trash containers and dispose of waste hygienically.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries and housekeeping issues such as spills or breakages.
• Work collaboratively with team members exhibiting professionalism at all times.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a fixed hourly wage of $17.25.
