Join Cygnet in their mission to support individuals transforming their lives, working across over 150 UK sites. We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper with a genuine passion for positively impacting others.

You will be based at Cygnet Hospital Bury Dunes, delivering a safe and hygienic environment for patients. This inpatient mental health facility supports men and women, including specialist deaf services and emergency admissions. Each patient has a private room with en-suite facilities and access to communal amenities such as a gym, laundry, occupational therapy kitchen, therapy garden, and woodland pathways leading to Elton Reservoir.

Role Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and general housekeeping duties to maintain cleanliness standards
• Ensure all hospital areas consistently meet hygiene requirements
• Implement daily and weekly cleaning schedules
• Restock supplies and maintain cleanliness and functionality of equipment
• Follow safe work practices and comply with health and safety legislation
• Adhere to Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience in housekeeping or domestic roles is preferred
• Understanding of COSHH guidelines is advantageous
• Approachable with a conscientious mindset and positive demeanor
• Effective communication skills
